BioMarsh

History

Spanning 48 years the family brand started life in 1963 as a simple piggeries.

The company at this time distributed meat through both it’s own shop and to trade buyers, little knowing that the tankers used for the farm waste were to take a pivotal role in their future.

Through the 1960’s and 70’s the piggeries continued to thrive, an unexpected offshoot of this was the market for their waste tankers. In 1972 the piggeries extended its operation to include more tankers and a fully fledged tankering company was born.

Over the next 25 years the tankering service continued to grow, spearheaded by Roderick and Margaret. As well as the business developing, the company evolved it’s name, and today is known as BioMarsh.

Margaret and Rod continue to oversee the running of the company with the welcome addition of their two daughters and two sons. The family business now runs a fleet of over 70 vehicles in a number of nationwide depots. Drawing on its knowledge and history BioMarsh provides an unparalleled service to its clients and will continue to develop and invest for years to come.
